SUBJECT: TRAVEL AGENT'S ADVERT IN POOR TASTE

Dear Sir,
Surely the present advertising campaign by Budget Travel which
concentrates on parodying the words of the Lord Jesus concerning sin is
in very poor taste and offensive to all who love the scriptures of
truth.
Many other travel firms and indeed other commercial enterprises are
able to advertise their wares and services without sinking to this
level and it is hoped that Budget Travel will immediately withdraw
these offensive posters which have "perverted the words of the living
God" (Jeremiah 32:36)
Thankfully, on various advertising sites round our city, the true word
of God which "is able to make us wise unto salvation" (2 Timothy 3:15)
is displayed. There is no ulterior or mercenary motive behind these
advertisements, but a desire to obey God in the proclamation of His own
word.
