Dear Sir,
Rev Canon Hay acknowledges that Church of Ireland rectors have room to
request those "living in open and notorious sin" to stay away from Holy
Communion (Letters 1-1-98)
Surely the fact that President McAleese, as a Roman Catholic partakes,
in the Mass which the 31st Article describes as a "blasphemous fable
and a dangerous deceit" would mean that this injunction should have
been applied?
