POPE JOHN PAUL KISSES THE KORAN
Here is a photo of the pope at the end of an audience with Patriarch
Raphael I of Iraq, where the pope "bowed" to the Muslim holy book, The
Koran, presented to him by the delegation. Any pretensions Rome
has to being a Christian Church must surely be dispelled in the above
photograph. Whatever good is in the Koran...it is a book that preaches
"another Jesus" (2 Corinthians 11:4) and by so kissing it ...Pope John
Paul II tacitly gives his endorsement to its message.
THE KORAN DENIES THAT GOD HAD A SON:
"O people of the Scripture! Do not
exaggerate in your religion nor utter aught concerning Allah save the
truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only a messenger of Allah,
and His word which he conveyed unto Mary, and a spirit [sic.] from Him.
So believe in Allah and His messengers and say not 'Three' - Cease! (it
is better for you! - Allah is only one God. Far is it removed from His
transcendent majesty that He should have a son...The Messiah will never
scorn to be a slave unto Allah."
THE KORAN DENIES THAT CHRIST WAS CRUCIFIED:
"That they rejected Faith; That they
uttered against Mary a grave false charge; That they said (in boast):
We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, The Messenger of Allah. But
they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to
them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no
(certain) knowledge, but only conjunction to follow, for of a surety
they killed him not. ... And on the Day of Judgment He (Jesus) will be
a witness against them (Christians)." (Koran, 4:156-159)
REMEMBER THIS:
IF JESUS CHRIST IS NOT THE SON OF GOD AND IF HE WAS NOT CRUCIFIED...THEN HE IS EITHER A LIAR OR A FOOL FOR HE AFFIRMED BOTH:
JESUS SAID:
Jesus heard that they had cast him
out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on
the Son of God? He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might
believe on him? And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and
it is he that talketh with thee. (John 9:35-37)
Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and
the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the
scribes, and they shall condemn him to death, And shall deliver him to
the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third
day he shall rise again. (Matthew 20:18-19)
IF JESUS CHRIST IS NOT THE
SON OF GOD AND IF HE WAS NOT CRUCIFIED...THEN THE UNIVERSAL EXPERIENCE
OF CHRISTIANS IS FOUNDED ON A MYTH:
I am crucified with Christ:
nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life
which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God,
who loved me, and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20)
