GOSPEL INDEX

Do take time to read these various gospel pieces, especially if you are still unsaved and without Christ reigning in your heart by faith. It may be that they will make you somewhat angry. We expect this, although they were not written to that end. The natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God. Sin has so blinded the mind and the heart, that it takes the mighty power of the Spirit of God Himself to bring you to the place of acceptance of these doctrine. The gospel humbles man before it lifts him and our pride hearts rebel against that kind of thing. If you should be inclined to reject the gospel because it doesn't measure up to your idea of what it takes to be saved, and if you should be inclined to walk away from this page somewhat angry, please remember the words of Naaman's servants to him in similar circumstances:

And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it ? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean? (2 Kings 5:13)

I am no prophet, but I believe all that the Prophets have written concerning the sole sufficiency of the Son of God to save you. Yes, we bid you to "Wash and be clean" pointing you to that great "fountain opened ... for sin and  uncleanness" (Zechariah 13:1) even "the blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, which cleanseth us from all sin." (1 John 1:7) If you should be saved through reading any of these articles, or through any articles on this whole site, please encourage us no end by letting us know. Meet us in Heaven.
