A major propaganda coup has succeeded in persuading millions to accept
that the notion of evolution is a fact and not a mere theory. This was
one of the big cannons in the arsenal of a totally failed and
discredited Communism.
* Evolution
is a vain attempt to deny the presence or the need of God. It seeks to
overthrow the fundamental Christian doctrines such as Creation, the
fall of mankind in Adam’s sin in Eden and therefore the need of a
Redeemer, atonement by the blood of the Lamb, the Day of Judgment and
Eternity, either in Heaven or in Hell. All these are swept aside in
this anti-God doctrine of Evolution.

Evolution tells us, contrary to Genesis 1:1 and Revelation 4:11, that
the world came into being through the explosion of certain gases which
produced a so called “Big Bang”. Perhaps some day it might
even tell us where these supposed gases came from in the first place.
It has been well said that it is easier to believe that Websters Unabridged Dictionary resulted from an explosion in a print factory than to believe that this world is the result of blind chance.
* The
Bible, although not primarily a science text book, leads the way in
science. When scientists believed that the world was flat, the
Scripture declared that God “set a compass [Lit. ”a
circle“] upon the face of the depth.” (Proverbs 8:27) It
was only the invention of the telescope which gave scientists some idea
of the immensity of space, yet in 700 B.C. the following thought was
used as an argument for the faithfulness of God to His people: “If the heaven above can be measured ... I will also cast off the seed of Israel.” (Jeremiah 31:37)
* The Bible has never yet had to retract a statement as untrue. It declares its words to “stand forever” (Isaiah 40:8) By
stark contrast, scientists (of all persuasions) have what they call
“ a five year half-life” i.e. In five years
half of what is now “known” to be fact will be proved false
and replaced by a new theory. Any theory which militates against the
word of God is doomed to failure. The only wonder about Evolution is
that it has held on to existence for so long.

It is morally irresponsible to tell men that they are only a higher
form of animal. Robbed of all moral and spiritual restraint, men are
turned into cruel beasts. Hitler’s desire of a human super race
where the weak were simply killed off, was Darwin’s “Survival of the Fittest” theory taken to its logical conclusion. Evolution fuelled his horrible book “Mein Kemph” where he wrote: “He
who would live must fight, he who does not wish to fight in this world
where permanent struggle is the law of life, has not the right to
exist.” I accept that the vast majority of evolutionists
totally abhor Hitler and his policies, but he did take their creed to
its ultimate conclusion. Tell a man that there is a hell; a Day of
Judgment where he will meet God, and he will think twice about he
treats his weak neighbour.
* Evolution
has no gospel to preach to the broken hearted. It cannot be taken with
any life changing effect into homes where the ravages of sin are felt
keenly. It can only give peace to the conscience by deadening it
to the realities of eternity. “The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no God.“ (Psalm 14:1) In a letter to Huxley, dated August 8th, 1860, Darwin referred to Evolution as "the Devil’s gospel" and so it is. The Devil is a deceiver (Revelation 20:10) and a liar and murderer from the beginning (John 8:44)
* Evolution
has no message with which to comfort the soul that is being bathed in
the swirling rivers of death. Voltaire was a famous propagator of
evolutionist atheism. The nurse who attended him in the throes of his
death said that she would not attend the death bed on another atheist
for all the money in Europe.
* By
stark contrast, D.L. Moody - the great Evangelist who believed in the
God of the Bible and who embraced Jesus Christ as His personal Saviour
- died a very happy death. His last recorded words were: “I see earth receding: Heaven is opening. God is calling me.” John Wesley rightly observed, “Our people die well.” Well did Balaam record his desire: “Let me die the death of the righteous, and let my last end be like
his!” (Numbers 23:10)
* You,
the reader of this booklet, have a responsibility for the destiny of
your soul. Heaven and hell etc., are eternal realities. You seal your
eternity in either one of these two places by what you do with
the Christ of God who died for sinners on the Cross. The way of
salvation is found elsewhere in this booklet. You can be saved for all
eternity.
