The Greatest Tip of All
Without money and without price

A quick word from the One who knew before the race began exactly who the winner would be

Two Bible texts seems most appropriate as we  think about the big race and the associated gambling: The Bible is always relevant no matter what the subject may be. The Bible is God's word and is quick (alive) and sharper than any two edged sword. We ignore it at our peril.
For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? (Mark 8:36) Here is one of those great questions of the ages. This question is a million times more important than who will win the next race or how much money you stand to make if you back the right horse. These words were spoken by the Lord Jesus Christ, who, of all men, knew what He was speaking about. Let them sink deep into your heart.
The answer, of course, is NONE. Your soul will live forever in ETERNITY! Just WHERE it will live is sealed by what YOU do with Jesus Christ
Who alone is mighty to save.
These are truly sober words. To gain the whole world with its immeasurable riches and power etc., but to lose your own soul at the end of your life is such a loss that cannot be sustained. Your soul is the only thing that the Bible says is yours. You will leave behind everything else on this earth, but your soul will live for ever, either in Heaven or in Hell.
The blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, cleanseth us from all sin (1 John 1:7) Another great Bible verse for you to think about. Here is the gospel. Christ has shed His blood for sinners. It is not the water of baptism that washes away sins. It is the blood of Christ and that alone that can remove every stain.
Christ died for the ungodly - He alone is the Way to pardon for sin and peace with God. But He must be sought in repentance and in faith. You are ungodly. Gambling is no noble thing to do. It is based on greed and the desire to be rich at the expense of another - even if that fool willingly pits his fiances against yours. Two wrongs never made a right. Maybe you are not a gambler or indeed subserviant to any of the great vices. No matter. We are all ungodly because we are all sinners. However, you can be saved and have all that sin put away and remembered no more.
As you read this card...Why not you? Why not now? The gospel demands a response. It is of little use reading about others fleeing to Christ for refuge, if you yourself stand and watch them and decide not to flee yourself.  This card is designed to show you that those who do flee always find admission into God's Kingdom. He has never turned away anyone yet who came.  Flee to Christ today and experience the joy of salvation for yourself.
